Describe yourself! That’s a pretty vague question, but besides the basics, I’d like to think I’m a pretty normal college junior. I think. I went to a community college in my hometown of Chandler, Arizona to get most of my general ed credits out of the way, and I’m looking forward to focusing more on the equine part of my studies. What brought you to Glendale? It’s one of the top-rated equestrian schools on this side of the country, and isn’t too far away from where I grew up. I’m a little nervous to see how competitive things will be with the other students, to be honest, but I wouldn’t give up this chance for the world. How were things for you, growing up? Awkward, in a word! I was the second-youngest of four sisters, and the only one who wasn’t constantly playing with Barbies or putting on my mom’s lipstick as a kid. My dad seemed to appreciate that I’d rather stay home and read a book than go out to the mall with a gaggle of other girls on the weekends; made his life a lot easier. Both of my older sisters are out of school already; Kaitlyn just started a surgeon gig at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Ashleigh’s busy in New York at some investment firm or whatever. No pressure, right? Anyway, I started riding in middle school, through the local equestrian team, and got my horse, Chess, for my sweet sixteen. So you’re not much of a social butterfly? Gosh, no. I... tend not to get along well with people, unless there are horses or books involved. Some of my closest friendships in high school were actually with my teachers, since they weren’t totally absorbed in the dramas of who broke up over the weekend or whether so-and-so had gotten knocked up during break. Teacher’s pet, maybe? You can call it that, I guess. I just genuinely like school, and teachers seem to enjoy having a student who isn’t constantly staring at the clock so they can jump up and leave. Lifetime ambitions? I really want to make a successful living out of working with horses. Whether that comes with being a trainer, a rider, or even a stable owner/manager doesn’t matter to me! I just know what I like to do, and I’d love to do those things until the day I die. hey-o, the name's English and i play Emmy Charbonneau and Charlotte Blackwell. i live in the Eastern Time Zone, and i've been roleplaying for 9 years on and off. Crash caught my eye because it’s a good-looking site with even better-looking members (/wink) and i'm pretty pumped to be here. you can contact me by pm, skype or aim on a private basis. |
