Though she might seem impartial at the best of times, Emmanuelle is more than capable of developing very strong friendships. However, she tends to have the attitude of letting chips fall where they may; if she has to go too far out of her way to maintain a relationship, she’ll just let it be. That being said, she’s most definitely aiming to buddy up with the other English Program instructors, as well as any other higher-ups that might be able to influence the program she holds so dear. mes rivaux, i forget neither offense nor slight. ENEMIES. The very first type of person I can see Emmy disliking enough to call an enemy is one of those folks who finds Western riding totally superior to English. Though she’s no personal fan of Western, Em’s at least civil enough to smile tersely and nod, so someone blatantly disrespectful or disdaining would surely piss her off royally. On top of that, she can’t stand those who refuse to pick up after their own mounts, and leave unreasonable mess for the stable hands. Sticking up for the help is also another way she could make friends, as well! mon amour, enchant me again. LOVERS. In the frankest of words, Miss Charbonneau isn’t really concerned with “true love” and the glitz and hearts and butterflies of it all. Growing up with a mother who spoke openly about the divorce cases her law firm handled made Emmanuelle more than a little jaded. On top of that, all of her past relationships have been markedly brief; essentially just flings to keep her mother happy and satisfy that usual societal pressure. Emmy isn’t opposed to finding “true love,” if it exists, but she’s not banking on it. She would most definitely be open to casual dating, as well as a deeper relationship if one were to develop. vous étudiants, think of me not as teacher, but as learner. STUDENTS. Though she’s not exactly school-aged anymore, Em likes to keep up a good extracurricular relationship with her students, often meeting them for coffee or arranging overnight trail rides. Her students are more than welcome to fit into any of the categories above, from prize pupil to the class clown she can’t stand. TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF ON THE EDGE |
